A hard rain’s a-gonna fall

Some form of drought covers 61% of the nation, and, of course, that is raising eyebrows

One of the biggest problems I have with the drought crowd is that the very definition of drought also takes into account usage. If there is more usage than the same amounts of rain, we now will have a stronger drought index than 50 years ago.

It has been absurdly dry this year so far.

But it’s certainly not representative of the past 10 years, so it’s an outlier.

Meanwhile, a strong to super El Niño in the oceanic Niño index is coming on.

The same period during those El Niños:

So be prepared, a “Hard Rain’s a Gonna Fall.” In fact, multiple events. So people a year from now (probably sooner) will be complaining about flooding. And given everything is blamed on you know what, the same thing being blamed now, will be blamed then.

That is one forecast you can bet on
