German Vaccination survey: One in three experienced “severe vaccine side effects”

A majority does not want to be vaccinated against the corona virus again. Almost one in three also reports severe vaccination effects in themselves or in the family circle. This is the result of a new survey by the research institute INSA-Consulere.

33 percent of young respondents between 18 and 29 stated that they themselves had suffered severely from the side effects of a corona vaccination, or that they had close family members who had done so. This is the result of a new survey by the research institute INSA-Consulere. Overall, 17 percent of respondents said they had been affected.

It is therefore not surprising that the willingness to vaccinate no longer finds a majority in the population. Although “no clear mood” can be identified, 47 percent would not be vaccinated again (once) against the corona virus. Only 40 percent are considering another vaccination. “There is no longer any sign of vaccination euphoria,” says Hermann Bringer, Managing Director of INSA-Consulere.

Given the high number of side effects among young people, it is not surprising that a majority of 54 percent would rather not be vaccinated (once). Only older people between 60 and 69 and over 70-year-olds intend to be vaccinated (once) against the corona virus.

Alone among the fully vaccinated with at least one booster vaccination, a majority of just under 53 percent to be vaccinated again. Partially vaccinated and fully vaccinated without hoof fresh vaccination split. The unvaccinated rule out vaccination with an overwhelming majority of 92 percent.

The majority of respondents stated that they had neither themselves nor close family members who had suffered severely from a corona infection. Interestingly, the proportion of those who have neither themselves nor close family members who have suffered severely from a corona infection increases with age. Similar to the side effects, it is especially the young people between 18 and 29 years, who have suffered severely from a corona infection.
