House Natural Resources Chair Westerman: It’s “whack-a-mole” with Biden climate policies

From CFACT

By Gabriella Hoffman

“Some call it oversight. It seems more like whack-a-mole… I sometimes wonder if they’ve [the Biden administration] got a committee over there that sits around thinking up things to get us worked up because they’re doing a pretty good job of it. And they give us a lot of opportunities to have oversight to push back on regulations that we can’t see any logic behind, or what the benefit of it is. At the same time, we’re also trying to push our agenda. I know you care a lot about conservation, hunting and fishing, and wildlife. And that’s something I’m very passionate about. We’ve passed the American Wildlife Habitat Conservation Act out of committee. We’re looking at forestry management. We’re really on the offensive, putting good policies out and showing an alternative to this over-burdensome regulatory environment that this administration has created. But at the same time we’re doing that — playing offense, we have a lot of defense to play.” – House Natural Resources Chairman Bruce Westerman (R-AR)

In Episode 422 of District of Conservation, Gabriella visits Capitol Hill to chat with Rep Bruce Westerman (R-AR) – chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee. Chairman Westerman rejoins the podcast to discuss the committee’s work to conduct oversight of bad Biden administration policies, concerns with the BIDEH rule, the environmental disaster brewing at the Southern Border, attacks on hunting and fishing, and more.
