 The BBC is worried about climate anxiety!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

As we explained earlier<\/em><\/a>, the heatwave that\u2019s been felt across parts of the UK and Europe is consistent with what we would expect in a changing, hotter climate.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the latest European State of the Climate report, Europe is the fastest warming continent in the world with heatwaves becoming more frequent and more intense.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As climate change worsens, climate anxiety has become more prominent in recent years. Young people are thought to be most at risk, <\/em>the government says, external<\/em><\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feelings often associated with this type of anxiety include fear, sadness, anger, dread and powerlessness.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UK government says information should be communicated in an \u201cage-appropriate, hopeful and action-oriented way\u201d, helping people to feel heard and \u201ccapable of making a difference\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those experiencing climate anxiety, Tony Bosworth, climate campaigner at environmental organisation Friends of the Earth says that \u201climiting your news consumption and time spent on social media, and getting out into nature, can also be good antidotes when things start to feel overwhelming\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They really are a pathetic lot!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It might help if the likes of the BBC actually told the truth about climate change, not their version of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then tell these sad children to grow up and get a life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
