Low wind (Dunkelflaute-like conditions) compounds the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Renewables make grids &#8220;fragile&#8221; or &#8220;Fubar&#8221;. The phrase &#8220;Fubar&#8221; is a military slang for &#8220;Fouled Up Beyond All Recognition&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">But mainstream sources
