An article appearing in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.berliner-zeitung.de\/politik-gesellschaft\/klimaforscher-prophezeite-vor-20-jahren-nie-wieder-schnee-heute-reagiert-er-nicht-mehr-auf-anfragen-li.10016726\"><em>Berliner Zeitung<\/em>&nbsp;here<\/a>&nbsp;notes that Latif\u2019s prophecy has \u201caged poorly\u201d and he appears to want to have nothing to do with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hiding from the media<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">According to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.berliner-zeitung.de\/politik-gesellschaft\/klimaforscher-prophezeite-vor-20-jahren-nie-wieder-schnee-heute-reagiert-er-nicht-mehr-auf-anfragen-li.10016726\"><em>Berliner Zeitung<\/em><\/a>, the former Max Planck Institute scientist has recently stopped responding to media inquiries regarding his past claims. Critics argue that such drastic predictions damage the credibility of climate science, while others point out that extreme weather events\u2014including intense cold snaps\u2014can still occur within the broader context of climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No Easter snow as well<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/notrickszone.com\/2021\/04\/04\/hamburg-germany-seeing-more-easter-snow-lately-than-in-1960s-when-co2-was-much-lower\/\">Latif also claimed<\/a>&nbsp;he recalled snow in the past occurring at Easter time, implying this no longer happens today.
