Asia\u2019s Karakoram Mountains have not undergone any warming since 1851, a trend that is inconsistent with claims that modern warming has been global in scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Per a&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S003101822500121X\">new study<\/a><\/strong> \u2018s reconstruction of summer temperatures over the last 170 years, this region has cooled dramatically (by nearly 1\u00b0C) since the 1980s.
