Another year, another well-above-average (1981-2010 mean) snow and ice accumulation on the Greenland ice sheet (indicated by the blue vs. gray trend lines, right chart).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The net mass gain (blue) again exceeded the net mass loss (red) during 2024-2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Greenland Ice Sheet melt percentage and surface temperature have been flat (to slightly declining) since 2002 (Fang et al., 2023<\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
