CO2 concentration increases are not the cause of rising temperature, but an effect of rising temperature.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

An independent researcher (Robbins, 2025<\/a><\/strong>) has reviewed recent research that suggests at least \u201c80% or more of the [modern CO2] increase is of natural origin.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is because \u201cchanges in atmospheric temperature are an \u2018effect\u2019 of changes in SSTs and not a \u2019cause\u2019 as some might advocate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Similar conclusions are found in a paper published in the same peer-reviewed journal last year (Ato, 2024<\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
