Few media outlets were covering the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you missed the original report, catch it&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NSXpSllJ2DQ\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Construction of the project would have directly threatened the Eastern Snake River Plain Aquifer that sits below Magic Valley. Migratory birds, such as endangered golden eagles, would have been decimated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The environmental trade-offs far outweighed any promised \u201cbenefits\u201d of wind power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shortly after CFACT released its Lava Ridge report in January 2023, Fox News host Jesse Watters featured our report on TV and followed up with Dean Dimond, one of the farmers Gabriella and Madison interviewed. A few months later, in March 2023, the Idaho legislature overwhelmingly passed a resolution of disapproval to block Lava Ridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rest is history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CFACT is proud to have played what others have described&nbsp;as a pivotal role in ending the Lava Ridge Wind Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are numerous stories across America that also demand attention.
