Nigel Farage<\/a> has said he is on a mission to \u201creindustrialise\u201d Britain, as he accused the Government<\/a> of having a \u201cmiserable\u201d and \u201cdeclinist\u201d attitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship conference in London, the Reform UK leader said that the country needs to achieve a \u201c180 shift\u201d in its attitude to achieve higher birth rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also claimed on Tuesday that the right-wing of politics in the UK \u201cis not split\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking questions from Canadian psychologist and political commentator Jordan Peterson<\/a> on stage, Mr Farage told activists: \u201cThe right is not split in this country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Conservative Party<\/a> is not on the right in any measurable way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Net Zero is not top of Farage\u2019s priority list, Farage has been a consistent opponent of expensive energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reform tops a YouGov poll for the first time

There\u2019s reason for cheer at Reform HQ this morning: Nigel Farage\u2019s party is leading Labour in a YouGov voting intention poll for the first time. According to the poll, Reform UK leads on 25 points with Labour in second place on 24 per cent and the Conservatives in third on 21 per cent. Meanwhile, the Liberal Democrats are on 14 per cent and the Greens on 9 per cent. While there have been a handful of polls to date putting Reform in the lead, they have so far been regarded as outliers. In response to the poll, Richard Tice, the deputy leader of Reform, said: \u2018Much more to come as common sense policies welcomed to save Britain and make us better off\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n
