The Energy Networks Association (ENA) has launched a winter campaign to help UK households prepare for possible power cuts.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign focuses on three steps: \u201cprepare, care, share.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to help people know what to do if power is lost during the winter months.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the campaign, the ENA encourages people to sign up for the Priority Services Register.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This service is for households with young children, older adults, those with medical conditions, or others who may need extra support.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the service cannot prevent power cuts, it aims to offer more information and help during planned work or unexpected outages.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cprepare\u201d step includes advice on making a plan in case of a power cut.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

People are encouraged to keep mobile phones charged and to report power issues online or by calling the free emergency number, 105.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201ccare\u201d step focuses on checking in with neighbours, friends, and family who may need help during a power cut.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ENA advises signing up for the Priority Services Register if eligible, which can be done through energy suppliers or network operators.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
