Yet another region of the world has not been cooperating with the \u201cglobal\u201d warming narrative.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A new study<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s reconstructed temperatures show no net warming in Central China over the last 250 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authors point out the observed temperatures from 1953-2020 closely align (r = 0.732) with the reconstructed 1953-2020 temperatures. This suggests the reconstructed temperature values extending to the 1770s may also align with the actual temperature trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis indicates that our reconstructed sequence is very robust at high frequencies\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Of course, studies like this cue the expected \u201cIt\u2019s-not-global!\u201d protestations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if we consider the Mauna Loa site in the Central Pacific, a location assumed to represent the \u201cglobal\u201d atmospheric CO2 values, we observe a lack of a warming trend in recent decades here too.<\/p>\n\n\n
