The UK<\/em><\/a> is bracing for the arrival of <\/em>Hurricane Kirk<\/em><\/a>, which is expected to bring brutal weather conditions, with winds reaching up to 70mph.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A shocking weather forecast from <\/em>WX Charts<\/em><\/a> shows the <\/em>storm<\/em><\/a> system sweeping in from the <\/em>Atlantic<\/em><\/a>, with peak gusts and rainfall threatening to cause widespread disruption on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the charts, the storm will bring gale-force winds that could see peak gusts reaching up to 75mph across parts of the UK, particularly impacting coastal areas.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The South Coast will be worst hit as the ex-hurricane makes its way through the English Channel.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest weather charts, valid for 6am on Thursday, show intense wind fields expanding from the Atlantic, engulfing <\/em>Ireland<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>Wales<\/em><\/a>, and <\/em>Scotland<\/em><\/a> by noon.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to strong winds, WX Charts reveal that large areas of the UK could see significant rainfall, with accumulations between 30-40mm over a 24-hour period. Southern parts of England could be hit with over 100mm on rain.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the storm system moves east, the winds will continue to build, battering much of the country, with gusts in excess of 62 mph predicted across central and northern parts of the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
