Pessimism is spreading and deepening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>That\u2019s the lowest level sentiment in 3 years<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe current economic slump is particularly evident in the renewed decline in the Ifo business climate index, which has left many economic experts downright perplexed. One thing is certain: the economy is in a serious crisis,\u201d reports Blackout News. And: \u201cno one can say exactly how far the German economy will fall.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>High energy prices, hostile business environment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The current socialist-green government has botched things so much, and now has no idea how to proceed further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe challenges are complex and a rapid improvement is not in sight,\u201d comments&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/blackout-news.de\/aktuelles\/ifo-geschaeftsklimaindex-deutschlands-wirtschaft-im-freien-fall\">Blackout News<\/a>&nbsp;further. \u201cIn summary, it is clear that the German economy is currently in a serious crisis.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many factors are contributing to the pessimistic business sentiment. Foremost are the high energy costs, which are among the highest energy costs in the world \u2013 thanks to Germany\u2019s botched attempt to move to green energies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>War and terrorism weighing down<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also the country\u2019s massive regulation is hostile to free enterprise. Add to this the escalating Ukraine war, which is weighing down further on sentiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another depressing factor: Germany\u2019s uncontrolled flood of refugees from countries plagued by terrorism and war, all of which has led to rapidly rising violent crimes like the one recently&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbs.com.au\/news\/article\/is-claims-germany-stabbing-attack-as-police-arrest-suspect\/4mqthgs31\">witnessed in Solingen<\/a>. Citizens fear for their safety, and have lost trust in the government\u2019s ability and willingness to protect them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not only business sentiment is plummeting, but so is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/notrickszone.com\/2024\/08\/27\/german-youth-have-woken-up-green-party-loses-83-of-its-young-voters-in-thuringia\/\">confidence in the government<\/a>.
