increasing emissions after this year, according to Bloomberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">China\u2019s carbon emissions were largely reported in July to be on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/07\/18\/climate\/china-greenhouse-gas-emissions-plateau.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">track<\/a>&nbsp;to decline or&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=8203064&amp;action=edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">plateau<\/a>&nbsp;annually this year following data suggesting a reduction in coal usage and an increase in green energy output. Both methane and nitrogen oxide are&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2023\/11\/15\/biden-administration-climate-cooperation-china-coal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">associated<\/a>&nbsp;with the burning of coal.&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/08\/28\/biden-admin-official-green-airplane-initiative-owns-oil-well\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(RELATED: Biden Admin Official Spurring Green Airplane Initiative Owns An Oil Well)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">China accounted for two-thirds of the world\u2019s new coal plants in 2023 after&nbsp;approving an average of two plants per week the year prior,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/04\/10\/climate\/coal-plants-china.html#:~:text=Global%20capacity%20to%20generate%20power%20from%20coal%2C%20one,older%20plants%20in%20the%20United%20States%20and%20Europe.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according<\/a>&nbsp;to The New York Times and a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/energyandcleanair.org\/publication\/china-permits-two-new-coal-power-plants-per-week-in-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">study<\/a>&nbsp;from the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air.
