Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg claimed in a\u00a0letter<\/a>\u00a0to the House Judiciary Committee on Monday that the Biden administration pressured his company to effectively “censor” Facebook content related to COVID-19 and Hunter Biden’s laptop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it,” Zuckerberg wrote in the letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I feel strongly that we should not compromise our content standards due to pressure from any Administration in either direction \u2014 and we\u2019re ready to push back if something like this happens again,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
