href=\"https:\/\/journals.lww.com\/endi\/fulltext\/2024\/09010\/wind_turbines__vacated_abandoned_homes_study__.1.aspx\">new study<\/a>\u00a0documents the detrimental effects linked to living in close proximity to wind turbines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Living within 10 km of a wind turbine may be associated with serious consequences to the health and safety of people and animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Examples include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;limb deformities in horses<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 birth defects (born with missing eyes and tails) in cattle, chickens born with crossed beaks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 264% higher cortisol (stress) levels in forest animals<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 enhanced aggression and erratic behavior in pets and livestock (such as kicking newborn calves)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 higher rates of cancer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 stillbirths and miscarriages, fertility declines, prolapsed birthing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
