class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>By\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/notrickszone.com\/author\/kenneth-richard\/\">Kenneth Richard<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new West Greenland temperature reconstruction (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/pdf\/10.1177\/09596836241247301\">Strunk et al., 2024<\/a><\/strong>) finds the region was 1.5 to 2\u00b0C warmer than today from 560 to 1100 CE, encompassing the Medieval Warm Period (MWP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The LOI (vegetation abundance) record reflects a much wetter, greener landscape
