Three climate experts have called out the \u201cglobal warming apocalypse\u201d narrative and the totally failed record of climate alarmists\u2019 predictions.\u00a0A warming climate helps ecosystems thrive, and climate models predicting global crisis have consistently over-predicted.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CO2 Coalition Executive Director Greg Wrightstone, Heartland Institute President James Taylor, and Junk Science\u2019s Steve Milloy all spoke during a media call last week about climate alarmist lies and the truths woke media and government don\u2019t want you to hear.<\/strong> These include the fact that moderate warming<\/strong> has actually been found beneficial<\/strong> for ecosystems, including for plants (and food crops) and animals.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the last eight+ years of a cooling trend and
the last century and a half of moderate warming portend
no imminent catastrophe, but should be celebrated.<\/mark><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s just one hard truth the experts highlighted during the call, providing data that illustrates climate alarmists aren\u2019t concerned with science or reality; rather, they are\u00a0manipulating data or making unverifiable claims for political or financial reasons<\/strong>. Taylor stated emphatically,\u00a0\u201cThere is no climate crisis.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrightstone particularly highlighted the\u00a0decrease in natural disasters, including fires, and especially the \u201csignificant decline\u201d in global droughts<\/strong>. According to Wrightstone, ecosystems are showing the beneficial effects of a lengthy trend of warming. Taylor provided further context on why \u201cglobal warming\u201d should be no big concern. \u201cWe are currently\u00a0experiencing the second and the third strongest El Ni\u00f1o ever recorded,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0he said, noting that this can increase temperatures; but El Ni\u00f1o and La Ni\u00f1a always and\u00a0normally create a cycle of warming or cooling effects<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEarth is still recovering from the Little Ice Age,<\/strong>\u00a0which was the coldest period of the past 10,000 years, that ended about 150 years ago,\u201d Taylor said. \u201cTemperatures should continue to set \u2018records\u2019 so long as climate activists define the \u2018record\u2019 as the past 150 years or so, recovering from the Little Ice Age.\u201d In other words,\u00a0the globe should be warming\u2014 and the current \u201crecords\u201d only hold if one ignores the temperatures from the previous cooling period!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taylor continued that, for much of human civilization, \u201ctemperatures have been significantly warmer than today, and humans and nature fared just fine.\u201d And therefore, in fact,\u00a0comparatively speaking, the globe is currently \u201cunusually cool.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0Milloy added his support to the arguments of the other two experts by noting that\u00a0\u201cglobal warming\u201d isn\u2019t man-made, either.<\/strong>\u00a0Indeed, despite the oft-repeated assertion that every emission causes the planet to heat up,\u00a0April 2024 was a third of a degree Farenheit cooler than April 1981 despite decades of emissions<\/strong>, Milloy added. In fact, in reality, carbon is not only beneficial but absolutely necessary for all life on earth, including humans.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

No major climate prediction for 50+ years has come true;<\/strong>\u00a0often, the predictions are wildly wrong. As Milloy noted, it\u2019s a hallmark of science to be able to make reasonably accurate predictions, and yet climate alarmists never do \u2014 more typically, they make temporarily unverifiable predictions or claims about the past and far into the future. Greg Wrightstone agreed, \u201cOne of the things driving these failed predictions [is] they\u2019re \u2026 basing a lot of these forward-looking projections on climate models, climate models that we know for a fact over-predict warming significantly.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He continued, \u201cAnd if you look at the\u00a0100+ models<\/strong>\u00a0that are used, there\u2019s only one that has accurately predicted the temperature into the future compared to actual temperatures, and that\u2019s the Russian model. The others, we see, [on] average,\u00a0over-predict warming by 2.5 to 3 times too much.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0If climate alarmists really followed the scientific method, they\u2019d have to admit that their hypothesis is not supported by evidence and needs to be reformulated. Unfortunately,\u00a0climate alarmists find their narrative too convenient a political tool to surrender to reality.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
