The number of Germany\u2019s corporate insolvencies in March reached the highest level on record, new data reveal. It\u2019s the Great Green Energies economic debacle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blackout News here<\/a> calls the trend \u201calarming\u201d and that it is \u201ca clear sign of the worsening economic crisis. The news are based on data released by the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere has been nothing comparable since 2016, the year the data was first collected,\u201d reports Blackout News<\/a>. \u201cThis development not only points to internal company problems, it also highlights the extensive economic challenges the country is facing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insolvencies are even worse than during the Corona pandemic lockdown years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cExorbitantly high energy costs\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Analysts say the main driver behind the dire trend are Germany\u2019s exorbitantly high energy costs, mostly due to the country\u2019s mismanaged foray into green energies \u2013 like wind and solar \u2013 and the transition away from affordable and stable conventional energy sources like natural gas, coal and nuclear power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe wave of corporate insolvencies cannot be explained by poor business decisions alone. Rather, it is the high cost of energy, which is driving up operating costs in times of global uncertainty, and a tax policy that leaves little room for investment,\u201d Blackout News adds<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both, left and center-right, are to blame<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The push to green energies, and away from conventional sources, began in earnest under the government led by Angela Merkel and her CDU center right party. The latest Socialist-Green coalition government, led by Olaf Scholz and Robert Habeck, have since pushed draconian policies that have only exacerbated Germany\u2019s economic and energy woes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most experts argue that the government hasn\u2019t been fixing problems, rather it has been making them far worse. It simply refuses to acknowledge the reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industrial exodus\u2026country needs more than just hope<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe current crisis demands far more from political decision-makers than just hoping for a calming of the market,\u201d adds Blackout News.  \u201cComprehensive measures are needed\u2026the measures include a reduction in energy costs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blackout News recently reported<\/a>\u00a0on the \u201cindustrial exodus\u201d as \u201cGermany\u2019s economic crisis forces traditional companies to flee.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
