\u201cThere are not that many areas in this 243,000 acre land grab that actually have antiquity areas on them. As a miner, I\u2019m subjected to pass an inspection by seven different state agencies. And one of the things that are done before I break ground is an archeological study has to be done. And if there\u2019s an area that I\u2019m in and they have already documented that there are archaeological finds then I\u2019m not allowed by section, township and range to be anywhere near that area. So these areas are already protected by our New Mexico Mining and Minerals Division and the BLM. So coming in and doing a blanket land grab to say they\u2019re going to be protecting antiquities, I find it ludicrous.\u201d \u2014 Lori Coleman, owner of Spanish Stirrup Rock Shop, LLC<\/p>\n\n\n\n
