If the Government insists that households get them anyway, they will suffer at the ballot box. The EU seems to understand that, but the penny doesn\u2019t yet seem to have dropped for Mr Sunak.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And Net Zero Watch is warning that delaying measures is unlikely to convince anyone. Mr Montford said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EU clearly thinks they can reintroduce the same measures after the elections, but nobody is fooled. Across the continent, it\u2019s clear that Net Zero is in retreat and sceptical parties are on the rise. Unfortunately, Mr Sunak seems to want to stick with his failed eco-religion for now.
