\u201cThe UN\u2019s plans for your diet would be nothing short of a disaster for your health and food security worldwide,\u201d said Rep. Flood. \u201cMeat is one of the most efficient ways to deliver protein, and here in the Beef State, cattle are a critical part of the Golden Triangle that\u2019s supplying clean ethanol fuel around the world. The resolution I\u2019m introducing today makes it clear that the United States opposes any attempt to reduce or eliminate meat production. Doing so would shatter the world\u2019s food security and end an age-old way of life for millions of farm and ranch families across the globe.\u201d  \u2014 Rep. Mike Flood (R-NE)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
