His work in urban climatology was cited in the first report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and his most recent work on the role of oceanic geothermal heat in modulating climate has been cited by the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Art is a member of the National Association of Scholars, and is a policy advisor to the Heartland Institute.
