I\u2019ll summarize a recent paper that was published by our Coalition stating that coal, oil and natural gas are the greenest of the energy sources.<\/strong> The paper was published by one of our distinguished members Dr. Indur Goklany. This is no lightweight scientist we\u2019re talking about here. Dr.Goklany<\/strong> opens his paper with his clear statement<\/strong>: Contrary to the claims of proponents of the green New Deal and Net Zero, fossil fuels are the greenest of fuels.<\/strong> In summary Dr Goklany\u2019s findings and our paper are consistent with our view that fossil fuels are Treasures to be valued and used for the benefit of humanity.<\/strong> Their demonization is irrational and destructive<\/strong> to our society.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coal and oil fueled the Industrial Revolution which gave us unprecedented prosperity and health.<\/strong> Together with natural gas they promise to raise billions of people in developing countries<\/strong> from poverty and deprivation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

in short we love CO2 and so should you. And in order to forestall a question I know will be coming, let me answer it ahead of time.\u00a0What is my solution.<\/strong>\u00a0You may have driven the Pennsylvania Turnpike and seen our billboard up near New Stanton. It\u2019s a picture of a woman resting comfortably in bed and the title is:\u00a0Sleep well, there is no climate crisis, there is no climate emergency.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no climate crisis. We see modest warming and increasing CO2 leading to gigantic benefits<\/strong> to our ecosystems and Humanity. We should celebrate<\/strong> that.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
