The answer is all to do with the pandemic treaty and climate lockdowns.<\/mark><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the ongoing\u00a0campaign has been accelerating in recent weeks.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Two Sides of the Same Coin<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

<\/a>I have written about this a lot over the last few years \u2013 see\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0here<\/a>. It\u00a0started almost as soon as Covid started<\/strong>, and has been\u00a0steadily progressing<\/strong>\u00a0ever since, with some reports calling\u00a0climate change \u201cworse than covid\u201d<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But\u00a0if they keep talking about it, I\u2019ll keep writing.<\/strong>\u00a0And hopefully the awareness will spread.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Anyway, there\u2019s a renewed push on the \u201cclimate = public health crisis\u201d front.<\/strong> It started, as so many things do, with Bill Gates<\/strong>, stating in an interview with MSNBC<\/a> in late September:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have to put it all together; it\u2019s not just climate\u2019s over here and health is over here, the two are interacting<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Since then there\u2019s been a LOT of \u201cclimate change is a public health crisis\u201d in the papers, likely part of the build-up to the UN\u2019s COP28 summit later this year<\/a>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following Gate\u2019s lead, what was once a slow-burn propaganda drive has become a dash for the finish line, with\u00a0that phrase repeated in articles all over the world as a feverish catechism.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

It was an editorial in the October edition of the British Medical Journal<\/a> <\/strong>that got the ball rolling, claiming to speak for over 200 medical journals, it declares it\u2019s\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time to treat the climate and nature crisis as one indivisible global health emergency\u201d<\/mark><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Everyone from\u00a0the Guardian<\/a>\u00a0to the\u00a0CBC<\/a>\u00a0to the\u00a0Weather Channel<\/a>\u00a0picked up this ball and ran with it.<\/strong>\u00a0 Other publications get more specific, but the message is the same.\u00a0Climate change is bad for the health of\u00a0women<\/a>, and children, and poor people, and\u00a0Kenyans<\/a>, and\u00a0workers<\/a>\u00a0and\u2026you get the idea.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that\u2019s all from just the last few days. It\u2019s not only the press, but governments and NGOs too<\/strong>. The \u201cOne Earth\u201d non-profit reported<\/a>, two days ago:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why climate change is a public health issue<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Again, based entirely on that letter to the BMJ. The UN\u2019s \u201cclimate champions\u201d are naturally all over it<\/a>,<\/strong>alongside the UK\u2019s \u201cHealth Alliance on Climate Change\u201d<\/a>, whoever they are.<\/em> [Note:  An overview of the climate medicine bureaucracy is here: https:\/\/rclutz.com\/2021\/09\/07\/here-comes-the-climate-medical-complex\/%5D<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the Red Cross<\/a> and Doctors Without Borders<\/a> have published (or updated) articles<\/strong> on their website in the last few days using variations on the phrase \u201cThe climate crisis is a health crisis.\u201d  <\/strong>Local public health officials from as far apart as Western Australia<\/a> and Arkansas<\/a> are busy \u201cdiscussing the health effects of climate change\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tellingly, the Wikipedia article on \u201ceffects of climate change on human health\u201d<\/a> has received more edits<\/a> in the last 3 weeks than the previous 3 months combined.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of this is, of course, presided over by the World Health Organization.<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

On October 12th the WHO updated <\/strong>its climate change fact sheet,<\/strong><\/a> making it much longer than the previous version<\/a> and including some telling new claims:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWHO data indicates 2 billion people lack safe drinking water<\/strong> and 600 million suffer from foodborne illnesses<\/strong> annually, with children under 5 bearing 30% of foodborne fatalities. Climate stressors heighten waterborne and foodborne disease risks<\/strong>. In 2020, 770 million faced hunger, predominantly in Africa and Asia. Climate change affects food availability, quality and diversity, exacerbating food and nutrition crises.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temperature and precipitation changes enhance the spread of vector-borne diseases.<\/strong>\u00a0Without preventive actions, deaths from such diseases, currently over 700,000 annually, may rise. Climate change induces both immediate mental health issues, like anxiety and post-traumatic stress, and long-term disorders due to factors like displacement and disrupted social cohesion.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

They are tying \u201cclimate change\u201d to anyone who is malnourished, has intestinal parasites or contaminated drinking water.<\/strong> As well as anyone who dies from heat, cold, fire or flood. Even mental health disorders.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve already seen the world\u2019s first\u00a0\u201cdiagnosis of climate change\u201d<\/a>.
With parameters set this wide, we will see more in no time.<\/mark><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Just as\u00a0a \u201cCovid death\u201d was anybody who died \u201cof any cause after testing positive for Covid\u201d,<\/strong>\u00a0they are putting language in place that can redefine\u00a0almost any illness or accident as a \u201cclimate change-related health issue\u201d.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two days ago, the Director General of the World Health Organization, the UN\u2019s Special Envoy for Climate Change and Health and COP28 President co-authored an opinion piece for the Telegraph<\/a>,<\/strong> headlined:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Climate change is one of our biggest health threats \u2013 humanity faces a staggering toll unless we act<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The WHO Director went on to repeat the claim<\/strong> almost word for word on Twitter yesterday:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The climate crisis is a health crisis. Air pollution and extreme temperatures are causing an increase in diseases like diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular and respiratory.
