In doubt-inducing&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/SX-gIkwlfhI?feature=shared\">programs<\/a>&nbsp;regularly aired by Russian state channels in the last decade, audiences are confronted with the message that the climate debate is ongoing and that theories of imminent global cooling hold equal credibility to the consensus on human-induced warming&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipcc.ch\/report\/ar6\/wg1\/downloads\/report\/IPCC_AR6_WGI_Chapter04.pdf\">supported<\/a>&nbsp;by the IPCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 2020 episode of the show \u201cThe Most Shocking Hypotheses\u201d on the state-controlled REN TV network&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rutube.ru\/video\/c377682c05c6f3445c85560c36553b59\/\">aired<\/a>&nbsp;claims that \u201cglobal warming turned out to be a global scam.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the episode, the host briefly mentions that information in the program would contradict established science, but said their purpose was to give the floor to another hypothesis so viewers could make their own conclusions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIsn\u2019t it time for the whole world to save humanity from imminent doom?\u201d the narrator asks. \u201cIt turns out things are not so straightforward.
