I\u2019m reading Neil Hanson\u2019s book \u201cThe Confident Hope of a Miracle\u201d, about the Spanish Armada.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are obviously all aware of the storm that swept the Armada to oblivion in 1588.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But Hanson goes into detail on two other storms that summer, both evidently exceptional in their own way:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
