German voters send loud and clear message to the socialist\/green government in Berlin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

States elections were held in the German states of Hesse and Bavaria with more than 13.5 million citizens being called to the polls today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first tabulated results, normally quite accurate, show the nationwide ruling coalition government parties comprising of the SPD Social Democrats, Alliance Greens and the FDP Liberal Democrats showed major losses as citizens express their general disapproval of over the government\u2019s green policies and immigration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hesse results<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared to the the last election in 2018, the SPD, Greens and FDP lost massively in Hessen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The center-right CDU and hard right AFD emerge as the clear winners. But CDU will likely form a coalition with the SPD or Greens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bavaria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In Bavaria, the results were also a devastating signal for the German government in Berlin, with its coalition parties losing a large share of voters:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Bavaria, even the CSU conservatives lost 0.5%. 25 years ago, the CSU got over 60%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clear winner was the hard right AfD party reaching almost 16% of the vote. The FDP party failed to even reach the 5% threshold needed to have seats in the Bavarian Parliament, and so will no longer be represented in parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In summary, voters are deeply dissatisfied with the policies of the ruling socialist-green government in Berlin and clearly reject their green schemes and wide open borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
