The second annual \u201cStop 30\u00d730 Summit\u201d was held last week in Dallas, drawing over 200 participants from around the nation seeking to halt President Biden\u2019s initiative to vastly expand federal regulation over private and public lands. Sponsored in part by CFACT and organized by Dan and Margaret Byfield of the American Stewards for Liberty, the conference was attended by numerous state and local officials, public policy experts, ranchers, farmers, and property owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the more notable presenters who took part in the gathering included Texas Agricultural Commissioner Sid Miller, West Virginia Agricultural Commissioner\u00a0Kent Leonhardt\u00a0and former Trump Director of the Fish and Wildlife Service Aurelia Skipwith, as well as Senator Pete Ricketts (NB) and Congressman Tom Tiffany (WI) via video. All of them took aim at the Biden Administration for using laws such as those surrounding wetlands, conservation easements, endangered species, and the creation of national monuments to remove large swaths of land from the states and individuals and put them under federal management and control. They noted that 30\u00d730, the Biden plan to transform one-third of the American landscape into wilderness by 2030, was construed by radical environmentalists seeking to put into place the principles outlined in a radical document called Agenda 21 (now Agenda 2030) that poses a threat to American liberties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CFACT speakers who also took part in the conference included President Craig Rucker, Director of Communications Marc Morano, National Grassroots Director Tom DeWeese, and policy experts Gabriella Hoffman and Bonner Cohen. CFACT\u2019s Collegians were also represented as six students who hailed from schools in Texas, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania also attended, as well as Collegians National Field Coordinator Omarr Peters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a special treat during the conference, the Epoch Times put on a \u201cRed Carpet\u201d screening of \u201cNo Farmers No Food\u201d and treated attendees to a preview of its new film before being released to the public. Directed and narrated by investigative journalist Roman Balmakov, the documentary uncovers the Green assault on food production and its impact on farmers and consumers. It includes appearances by CFACT\u2019s Craig Rucker, Marc Morano, and Debbie Bacigalupi, among many other friends and allies. The film was well received, and after it was complete, the crowd participated in a question and answer session hosted by the producer, American Stewards of Liberty\u2019s President Margaret Byfield, TX Agricultural Commissioner Sid Miller, WV Agricultural Commissioner Kent Leonhardt, and New Mexico Cattle Growers Association president Loren Patterson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
