falsely claimed that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBut in Britain and the United States, global records go back to the mid-1800s, and the two countries\u2019 weather and science year 2023 summer temperatures in the U.S. and other global locations are, in fact, disputed by NOAA\u2019s measured data.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NOAA\u2019s year 2023 U.S. temperature data records covering the NOAA defined 3-month summer June through August period actually&nbsp;<strong>shows that U.S. 2023 summer temperatures were far below \u201crecord\u201d summer maximum temperature&nbsp;levels regardless of whether one is looking at NOAA\u2019s national, regional, state, county or city summer temperature data.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking first at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncei.noaa.gov\/access\/monitoring\/climate-at-a-glance\/national\/time-series\/110\/tmax\/3\/8\/1895-2023?\">NOAA\u2019s National Contiguous U.S. Maximum Temperature<\/a>\u00a0for year 2023 (shown below) we see a maximum temperature of 85.72 F which represents the 109th highest maximum summer temperature of the 129 maximum summer temperatures identified. Only Louisiana has a \u201crecord\u201d maximum highest summer temperature in year 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>California\u2019s year 2023 summer temperature was not even close to a \u201crecord\u201d maximum summer temperature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>47 of the 48 Contiguous U.S. States did not have a \u201crecord\u201d maximum summer temperature<\/strong>.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking next at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncei.noaa.gov\/access\/monitoring\/climate-at-a-glance\/county\/time-series\/CA-037\/tmax\/3\/8\/1895-2023\">NOAA\u2019s County Time Series Maximum Temperature<\/a>\u00a0for year 2023 (shown below for Los Angeles County) we see a maximum temperature of 85.0 F which represents the 49th highest out of 129 maximum summer temperatures identified.
