At Eskdalemuir 80mm of rain fell in 30 minutes, still a record for the UK:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
