Morano: \u201cIt\u2019s a comedy of woke errors from beginning to end. The idea that you can\u2019t get water released to put out a fire because you have to have a conversation about \u2018equity\u2019 first. The idea that you can\u2019t focus on making cables safer because Hawaii was the\u00a0first state of the entire United States to declare itself carbon neutral and net zero<\/a>\u00a0by 2045.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As they\u2019re patting themselves on the back and the grid operators are worried about the green energy instead of shoring up the energy which they were \u2014 multiple times, warned about \u2014 that needed to be shored up to fight wildfires. The land management issues. All of these areas and yet\u00a0the Washington Post, Rachel, will still come out and say, climate came from Maui<\/a>, and it\u2019s coming for you next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morano:<\/strong>\u00a0They\u2019re still doing this climate boogeyman as the cause of these fires, not the gross mismanagement from A to Z here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morano:<\/strong>\u00a0This was a fantastic story coming\u00a0from ABC News<\/a>. They quoted the governor saying this was a fire hurricane that caused this. And then ABC News says the obvious there\u2019s no such thing as a fire hurricane. It was like a Mic Drop. This outraged the climate activists so much that professors,\u00a0climate activists were using F-bombs<\/a>\u00a0on Twitter, going after ABC News.\u00a0ABC had to take out climate change wasn\u2019t responsible, add the word \u2018entirely\u2019.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The science police came in and said you can\u2019t go with that narrative. And this was the corporate media bowing to the Green New Deal activists. And it was it was an amazing sight to see because ABC News actually did real climate journalism for a change and then quickly paid dearly for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rachel Campos-Duffy:<\/strong>\u00a0Yeah, this is how big green gets quote-unquote, consensus. They bully everyone, threaten them with all kinds of things. Really quick. Are you afraid of this being used as a climate emergency a climate lockdown? I know you\u2019ve been warning about that happening, you know, in the very near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morano<\/strong>:\u00a0 We already have the\u00a0Green New Deal network using the Hawaiian fires in Maui to urge Joe Biden to declare a national climate emergency<\/a>\u00a0that would give him \u2014\u00a0\u00a0according to the Center for Biological Diversity \u2014 130 new executive powers<\/a>, ala COVID, where they could literally bypass democracy once again \u2014 that is the end goal. They\u2019re weaponizing every single weather event, and they\u2019re not taking responsibility to prevent fires like we are seeing in Hawaii in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, it\u2019s the boogeyman of climate, and they believe we need more mandates and we need more emergency powers, and if Joe Biden gets this, we are looking at a very restrictive culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
