class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">District Court Judge Kathy Seeley ruled in favor of several young plaintiffs \u2013 ranging in age from 5 to 22 \u2013 saying they \u201chave a fundamental constitutional right to a clean and healthful environment, which includes climate as part of the environmental-support system.\u201d [emphasis, links added]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As proof of the harm the plaintiffs are suffering, the order has a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/the-climate-crisis-frenzy-is-a-mass-hysteria-movement\/\">list of horribles<\/a>&nbsp;that includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201c<strong>Olivia expressed despair<\/strong>&nbsp;due to climate change.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c<strong>Badge is anxious<\/strong>&nbsp;when he thinks about the future that he, and his potential children, will inherit.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c<strong>Grace \u2026 is anxious<\/strong>&nbsp;about climate change.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c<strong>Mica gets frustrated<\/strong>&nbsp;when he is required to stay indoors during the summer because of wildfire smoke.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Perhaps the judge should have\u00a0<strong>ruled against the adults<\/strong>\u00a0who are\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/stop-scaring-the-children-there-is-no-climate-crisis\/\">filling these poor children\u2019s minds<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/alarmist-doom-mongers-youth-climate-strikes\/\">climate alarmist fantasies<\/a><\/strong>, but\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/scare-fest-over-70-percent-of-children-aged-7-12-afraid-of-climate-change\/\">that\u2019s another story<\/a>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ruling was heralded by the likes of Julia Olson, executive director of the Oregon-based Our Children\u2019s Trust, which has filed similar lawsuits in other states, who said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cToday\u2019s ruling in Montana is a game-changer that marks a turning point in this generation\u2019s efforts to save the planet from the devastating effects of human-caused climate chaos.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Apparently, after \u201cglobal warming,\u201d \u201cclimate change,\u201d and \u201cclimate crisis\u201d failed to move the needle,\u00a0<strong>the left is trying out \u201cclimate chaos.\u201d<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will admit that we find ourselves in wholehearted agreement with Emily Flower, spokesperson for Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen, who\u00a0<strong>called the ruling \u201cabsurd\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and said that\u00a0<strong>this \u201csame legal theory has been\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/disturbing-dismissal-kiddies-climate-lawsuit\/\">thrown out of federal court<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and courts in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/kids-climate-suit-gets-tossed-washington-state\/\">more than a dozen states<\/a>. It should have been here as well,\u00a0<strong>but they found an ideological judge who bent over backward<\/strong>\u00a0to allow the case to move forward and\u00a0<strong>earn herself a spot in their next documentary<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In any event, it was up to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/study-ap-embedded-woke-propaganda-after-getting-8m-grant-from-lefty-climate-orgs\/\">crack reporters and editors at the once respectable Associated Press<\/a>\u00a0to come up with\u00a0<strong>what is perhaps the most asinine sentence ever written about this issue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe ruling following a first-of-its-kind trial in the U.S.,\u201d the AP reported, \u201cadds to a small number of legal decisions around the world that have established a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/report-biden-close-to-declaring-climate-emergency-to-ration-gas-electricity-meat\/\">government duty to protect citizens from climate change<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>\u201cA government duty to protect citizens from climate change\u201d?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Think about that for a minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do they mean\u00a0<strong><em>any<\/em>\u00a0sort of climate change<\/strong>, such as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/climate-changes-it-always-has-it-always-will\/\"><strong>climate change that occurs around the world<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0every year when\u00a0<strong>temperatures can change from sub-zero to 90 degrees<\/strong>\u00a0in a matter of months?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or perhaps they mean that the government should\u00a0<strong>protect citizens from things like El Nino<\/strong>, that\u00a0<strong>naturally recurring<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 but scientifically inexplicable \u2013\u00a0<strong>climate phenomenon<\/strong>\u00a0that we are currently experiencing, and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eos.org\/articles\/tonga-eruption-may-temporarily-push-earth-closer-to-1-5c-of-warming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">underwater volcanic eruptions<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0both of which have\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/the-heat-delirious-media-is-wrongly-blaming-climate-change-for-2023s-heat-waves\/\">driven this summer\u2019s heat waves<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or, longer term,\u00a0<strong>what about ice ages?<\/strong>\u00a0There have been\u00a0<strong>five of them in the Earth\u2019s history<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 also for\u00a0<strong>reasons nobody can fully explain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last one ended 10,000 years ago, which is about how long these \u201cinterglacial\u201d periods last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few years ago, some researchers predicted the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/forget-global-warming-worry-about-the-next-ice-age\/\">next ice age<\/a>\u00a0could begin in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/news\/2015-07-ice-age.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2030<\/a><\/strong>. Is it the government\u2019s duty to\u00a0<strong>protect us from this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/climate-expert-what-the-ipcc-actually-says-about-extreme-weather\/\">climate variation<\/a><\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Someone should take these AP reporters aside and explain to them a basic fact of life:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/new-paper-reveals-how-climate-journalism-is-broken-dominated-by-bias\/\"><strong>The climate is always changing<\/strong><\/a>. Always.\u00a0<strong>Sometimes for the worse. Sometimes for the better.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They might go on to explain to these reporters that the\u00a0<strong>best way to deal with an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/report-the-earth-has-a-changing-climate-not-a-climate-crisis\/\">ever-changing climate<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0isn\u2019t to wish change away, or pretend that denying a drilling permit will make one iota of difference, but to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/media-fearmonger-about-climate-change-but-vilify-practical-solutions\/\"><strong>encourage human ingenuity and prosperity<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s how you\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/what-climate-crisis-a-primer-on-earths-turbulent-climatic-past\/\">deal with a climate that is\u00a0<em>always<\/em>\u00a0changing<\/a><\/strong>. By\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/spend-billions-on-green-innovation-not-trillions-on-carbon-cutting\/\">adapting to it<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s why\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/lomborg-dramatic-decline-in-climate-related-deaths-persists-thru-2022\/\"><strong>deaths from naturally occurring disasters<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and so on,\u00a0<strong>have steadily fallen<\/strong>\u00a0as mankind has\u00a0<strong>become smarter and more prosperous<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s\u00a0<strong>radical\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/the-radical-agenda-fueling-big-greens-anti-industry-industry\/\">anti-growth environmentalists<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 aided by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/the-myth-of-an-overheated-planet-destroyed-by-four-facts\/\">brain-dead reporters<\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<strong>not\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechangedispatch.com\/myth-of-big-oil-funding-climate-skepticism-vs-big-greens-billion-dollar-alarmist-industry\/\">oil and gas companies<\/a><\/strong>, who are the\u00a0<strong>biggest threats to the health, safety, and well-being<\/strong>\u00a0of those kids in Montana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Top image via YouTube\/<a
