Unsurprisingly the distribution varies, most notably there being less open water 2023 along the Russian shelf seas on the left side.\u00a0 OTOH, Hudson Bay in most years still has some ice, but this year not.\u00a0 Overall, Arctic ice this year is in surplus to the 17-year average and to 2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\"
