class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for the status of polar bears around Svalbard, Norwegian scientists who monitor the bears have not updated\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mosj.no\/en\/indikator\/fauna\/marine-fauna\/polar-bear\/\">the MOSJ website<\/a>\u00a0with data from this spring\u2019s research, as they have been doing for the last several years at least. Last year this chore was completed by 31 May and<a href=\"https:\/\/polarbearscience.com\/2022\/06\/26\/svalbard-polar-bear-data-for-spring-2022-low-june-ice-unlikely-to-affect-health-or-survival\/\">\u00a0I reported on it in June<\/a>.
