The myth that wind and solar are well on the way to replacing the energy provided by oil, coal and gas is just that. With or without mythical mega-batteries, with or without converting wind and solar generated electricity to so-called \u2018green\u2019 hydrogen, wind and solar power might occasionally displace conventionally generated electricity, but they haven\u2019t a hope in hell of ever replacing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hence the waffle about giant batteries and green hydrogen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ronald Stein makes the point, reporting on the work of a New York Senator, George Borrello aimed at legislating in favour of maintaining access to the most reliable and beneficial energy sources on the planet \u2013 namely oil, coal and gas \u2013 by reserving those helpful hydrocarbons for meaningful purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May 2023, New York Senator George Borrello Introduced Legislation to Prohibit Use of Fossil Fuels in Manufacturing of Renewable Energy Equipment. Obviously, the Senator is cognizant of the reality that all the parts and components for wind turbines and solar panels are made with the oil derivatives manufactured from crude oil! Thus, ridding the world of oil will eliminate wind turbines, solar panels, and EV batteries!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
