There\u2019s nothing quite like preparing well in advance to declare a (checks notes) \u201cclimate emergency\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hey, one can never be too prepared! \u00a0Even more amusing \u2014 in a rather dark, very 2020s way \u2014 is the idea of a proposal for a \u201cClimate Emergency Initiative.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And apparently a really good one at that. Odd this didn\u2019t come up in Mr. Goffman\u2019s prolonged, still-inchoate confirmation process\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
