class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The author, statistician and philosopher of science Professor William M Briggs, takes the reader on a journey through the dizzying array of problems that affect science today, from the fallacy of falsification, to dodgy models, to the crisis of replication and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professor Briggs said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not all science is broken, but much of it is, and much&nbsp;else is of little real use. Why is this?
