years there has been an anti-correlation between rising CO2 and the Siberian Arctic temperature \u2013 the opposite of what is claimed by proponents of the anthropogenic global warming narrative.<\/mark><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41467-023-37766-5\">new study<\/a><\/strong>, Arctic Siberia was 4\u00b0C warmer than it is today from 15,000 to 11,000 years ago, when CO2 was ~240 Siberia was 5\u00b0C warmer than today (12\u00b0C vs. today\u2019s 7\u00b0C) during the last glacial maximum, 26,000 to 19,000 years ago (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S104061822030656X\">Tarasov et al., 2021<\/a><\/strong>). At that time, CO2 was estimated to be 180 to 190 ppm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was so warm back when CO2 was below 200 ppm that horses, rhinos, bison, and mammoths could thrive in the Arctic, grazing on the abundant Siberian Arctic grass year-round, even in winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is obviously far too cold for grazing megafauna to survive in
