class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I debunked it at the time,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/notalotofpeopleknowthat.wordpress.com\/2022\/05\/18\/bbc-blame-global-warming-for-indias-not-unusual-heatwave\/\">here<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/notalotofpeopleknowthat.wordpress.com\/2022\/05\/17\/record-temperatures-in-delhi\/\">here<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/notalotofpeopleknowthat.wordpress.com\/2022\/05\/16\/heatwaves-getting-worse-in-india-more-bbc-lies\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now of course we have the full data for spring for last year, and this year too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below are the spring mean temperatures at Safdarjan Airport, in New Delhi, which has long running, high quality, is relatively unaffected by UHI, and is listed by the India Met Office as one of their Base Stations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was certainly how last spring, but not as hot as 1941 and 1943, and this year\u2019s temperatures were actually below average.
