\u201cEcological madness\u201d\u2026\u201druinous retrofittings\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The mood in Germany has become outright ugly as citizens reel from high inflation and fear government policy initiatives that would bankrupt many if enacted. Business sentiment among small to medium companies is souring rapidly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among these initiatives is the current green-socialist government\u2019s plan to force citizens and businesses to wean themselves off oil and gas heating beginning already next year. All the despair now risks morphing into anger and civil unrest, warns one opposition leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uprisings among the poplulation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the new, rapidly emerging Austrian alternative media news site AUF 1<\/a>, Saxony\u2019s Minister President Michael Kretschmer<\/strong> of the CDU Christian Democrats warns of potential unrest and vehemently criticized the government\u2019s current climate policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saxony\u2019s Kretschmer even explicitly warned of \u201cuprisings among the population\u201d and that \u201cthe government\u2019s new plans would lead to \u2018deindustrialisation and riots\u2019,\u201d AUF 1 reports<\/a>. \u201cHis criticism was aimed above all at the Building Energy Act pushed by the Green Minister of Economics, Robert Habeck.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently Habeck is sharply under attack for cronyism<\/a> as his ministry funnels funds and influential positions to friends and family, many of whom are professionally unqualified for the positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEcological madness\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

AUF 1<\/a> reminds that the proposed government \u2018s green policies \u201cwill force ruinous retrofitting on millions of homeowners.\u201d and that many citizens would simply not be able to afford the required renovation of their house or apartments. Homeowners would face renovation costs of at least tens of thousands of euros.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kretschmer called the Greens\u2019 policy \u201cecological madness\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Austrian AUF 1<\/a> calls the governments policies \u201ccompletely misguided\u201d and that they will lead to \u201cmassive relocations of companies away from Germany.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
