Earth Hour is a special event that helps raise awareness about climate change and encourages people to take action. In this article, we\u2019ll explore what Earth Hour is, why it\u2019s important, and how you can join the cause!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is Earth Hour?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earth Hour is an annual event organized by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.worldwildlife.org\/site\/Donation2?df_id=14650&amp;14650.donation=form1&amp;s_src=AWE2010OQ18507A04091RX&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjwlPWgBhDHARIsAH2xdNdGipaUbBibJeT4nCRMjFXavXPCisV4Ve63fIJVLxsFJ7ItleFx3NoaAg0GEALw_wcB\">World Wildlife Fund<\/a>&nbsp;(WWF). It started back in 2007 in Sydney, Australia, and has since grown into a global movement. The main idea behind Earth Hour is for people to turn off their lights and electronic devices for one hour. This usually happens on the last Saturday of March, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM local time.
