This fairly new thing, the so-called \u201cgreat reset,\u201d is more than the political left acting out their bottled-up fury<\/strong> at successes of the land in which they find themselves. Infuriated at how well freedom is working<\/strong>\u2014the opulence, scientific and technological achievements, personal advancements at every level\u2014even for the \u201cdowntrodden\u201d<\/strong> compared to the rest of the world\u2014they grouse. They can see (and deny) how poorly socialist utopian schemes they hold dear are doing.<\/strong> Like spoiled brats they nihilistically seek to overturn everything about this nation that is good and decent and pure.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

America is in mortal danger from this actual mass psychosis<\/strong> afflicting so many of our countrymen. The psychiatric community calls it mass formation, a term and effect worth studying if you haven\u2019t. The most striking modern example<\/strong> of course was in Germany before WWII, but communist China soon afterwards<\/strong> under the brutal dictator Mao Tse-dung wasn\u2019t far behind. Pol Pot in Vietnam<\/strong> set new standards of depravity and evil, with popular support. Our own witch hunts in New England soon after we achieved independence were a similar thing\u2014hysteria that knows no controls.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words Are the Key<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Using principles learned from Russian, Chinese and North Vietnamese communists, along with George Orwell, whose 1949 dystopian novel 1984 spelled it out with chilling clarity, leftists understand that whoever controls our language controls us.<\/strong> That battle is on. An entire generation of Newthink terms have entered the public mind, infiltrated newsrooms and classrooms everywhere, and threaten our health and liberty.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It boggles the mind how easily that disease has spread.<\/strong> People at the vaunted Associated Press have picked up the gauntlet, and what used to be a descriptive guide for journalists, like a dictionary, the AP Stylebook has become a proscriptive mandate.<\/strong> It now dictates which terms are acceptable and which<\/strong> must be cast aside as intolerant, offensive, biased and other inaccurate derogatory slurs.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

America\u2019s consciousness of this grew in a quantum leap, especially in the enormously influential Second Amendment community with the development and release in the year 2000 of The Politically Corrected Glossary,<\/strong><\/a> published by Bloomfield Press.  It changed some dialog and terminology,<\/strong> jump-starting reassessments, but the powerful mainstream media steamed right ahead regardless.<\/strong> The terribly sexist slur, gunman,<\/strong> appears constantly instead of killer<\/strong>, murderer or even criminal.<\/strong> Inanimate wholesome products like pistols or sidearms became fearsome semi-automatic handguns<\/strong>, which anti-gun forces publicly acknowledged misleads many into thinking machinegun.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this day, despite constant complaints, reports\u00a0call mass murderers \u201cshooters,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0denigrating 100 million American shooters who shoot for fun, sport and safety. Simultaneously, this linguistic trick\u00a0avoids casting any shade on the criminal psychopaths<\/strong>\u00a0who murder innocent people by the thousands annually. Those culprits are\u00a0further protected by prosecutors and a judiciary<\/strong>\u00a0that often avoids going after the perps, a shortening of perpetrators, now also frowned upon by the great resetters.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Assault is a type of behavior, not a type of hardware,<\/strong> outlawed everywhere under multiple laws, as it should be. That does little to stop resetters from attaching assault to weapon, so effective in turning the public against household firearms, the commonly used kind you\u2019ll find in millions of American homes. The U.S. Supreme Court affirmed that the Second Amendment holds extra special protection for such household arms in common use, a point leftists treat with disdain.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those usual suspects\u2014Marxist socialist democrats and other malfeasants\u2014are actively pushing the overhaul of our language\u2014and our freedoms.<\/strong> Tough to admit, but they\u2019re pretty good at it. You may not even know you\u2019ve been snookered, it\u2019s so subtle and easy to miss. That\u2019s what makes it so effective. Merely declaring yourself pro gun plays into their hands. How? Because they\u2019ve cast guns as horrific instruments of the devil. If you say you\u2019re pro gun you practically are the devil,<\/strong> to their addled minds. Try instead thinking of yourself as pro rights, a term they avoid, because if that\u2019s you, what are they?<\/strong> Anti rights, which is pure truth on a platter, intolerable to them, and now you\u2019re catching on.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comment: <\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Many have sensed this twisting of words attacking rights other than bearing arms for self-defense.  An overview of this lexicon of distorted terms was published at Canada Free Press by Linda Goudsmit, entitled Orwell\u2019s Doublespeak: The Language of the Left.<\/strong><\/a>. Excerpts in italics with my bolds and added images.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To understand why the progressives speak doublespeak, their goals, who benefits, and the purpose of relabeling up as down and down as up, it is necessary to\u00a0translate doublespeak into colloquial English<\/strong>. In an effort to translate the language of\u00a0doublespeak a glossary<\/strong>\u00a0with explanations is helpful. The glossary will\u00a0decode the disingenuous Doublespeak<\/strong>\u00a0of the radical left-wing liberals broadcast incessantly by the colluding mainstream media, taught in the infiltrated educational curricula, and dramatized by the Hollywood gliteratti and television programming in the entertainment industry. There is no informed consent in a society of lies and propaganda. If American democracy is to be preserved it is\u00a0essential that an informed citizenry understand how they are being indoctrinated<\/strong>\u00a0toward socialism by a deliberate program of propaganda and doublespeak.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Diversity = Differences in appearance<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diversity<\/strong>\u00a0is a word that\u00a0refers to variety<\/strong>. It has an inclusive connotation and in a social context means the inclusion of multiple races and ethnicities \u2013 black, white, Asian, Hispanic etc. For Leftists, what\u00a0the word does not include<\/strong>\u00a0is any\u00a0variation in thought.<\/strong>\u00a0Leftist diversity only extends as far as\u00a0appearances<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 it does\u00a0not<\/strong>\u00a0tolerate any\u00a0variety of opinions.<\/strong>\u00a0Leftism is tyrannical in its demands for conformity to its politically correct left-wing narrative of moral relativism and historical revisionism it does not include any conservative opinions or ideas. In Doublespeak diversity means differences in appearance.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

2. Education = Indoctrination<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education is the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction especially at a school or university.\u00a0In a democracy public education is \u201cinclusive,<\/strong>\u00a0both in its treatment of students and in that enfranchisement for the government of public education is as broad as for government generally. It is often organized and operated to be\u00a0a deliberate model of the civil community in which it functions<\/strong>.\u201d \u2013 Wikipedia Education in America has been commandeered by left-wing liberals and\u00a0is now a vehicle for indoctrinating American youth<\/strong>\u00a0from K-12 and throughout college. Conservative voices are no longer welcome in education. What was once a\u00a0traditional American education of core subjects and pride<\/strong>\u00a0in American democratic ideals has been\u00a0transformed into an echo chamber of Leftist propaganda<\/strong>\u00a0promoting globalism, socialism, American self-loathing, political correctness, moral relativism, and historical revisionism. In Doublespeak education means Leftist indoctrination.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

3. Freedom of speech = Approved speech<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freedom of speech is the foundation for democracy. Without freedom of speech there is no other freedom which is\u00a0why tyrants always eliminate freedom of speech first.<\/strong>\u00a0Leftists in America are determined to eliminate freedom of speech by enforcing their own\u00a0code of political correctness which labels any opposing speech as hate speech.<\/strong>\u00a0Speakers with conservative points of view are disinvited or intimidated through organized boycotts and violent protests. It is unAmerican to disallow the expression of opposing views but Leftists are tyrannical in their demand for conformity to their approved rhetoric. In Doublespeak freedom of speech means freedom of approved speech.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

4. Globalism = One-world government<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Globalism is defined as the operation or planning of economic and foreign policy on a global basis. Globalism commonly refers to international trade among nations. Leftists seek to internationalize the world and are not using the word globalism to mean global trade.\u00a0When Leftists say globalism<\/strong>\u00a0they mean one-world government \u2013 their\u00a0intention is to eliminate national boundaries, national sovereignty, and impose one-world government.<\/strong>\u00a0The irony is that Leftists do not realize they are participating in their own destruction because the globalist elite who will rule the new world order consider the Leftists to be useful idiots. In Doublespeak globalism means one-world government.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Global warming\/climate change = Redistribution of wealth<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1992 UN scientists on The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change\u00a0(IPCC) stated: \u201cIt is extremely likely that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming<\/strong>\u00a0since the mid-20th century.\u201d Greenpeace founder Patrick Moore testified before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on June 24, 2014 that: \u201cExtremely likely\u201d is\u00a0not a scientific term but rather a judgment, as in a court of law.<\/strong>\u00a0The IPCC defines \u201cextremely likely\u201d as a \u201895-100% probability.\u2019 But upon further examination it is clear that these numbers are not the result of any mathematical calculation or statistical analysis. They have been \u2018invented\u2019 as a construct within the IPCC report to express \u2018expert judgment,\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0as determined by the IPCC contributors.\u201d Climate change is the greatest hoax ever\u00a0perpetrated on industrialized countries to transfer their wealth to non-industrialized countries.<\/strong>\u00a0The United Nations is committed to globalization and one-world government and is supported worldwide by Leftists with the same objective. In Doublespeak global warming\/climate change means the redistribution of wealth.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

6. Income equality = Redistribution of wealth<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Income equality in a democracy is achieved through equal opportunity \u2013 there is no guarantee of equal outcome<\/strong>. When Leftist\u2019s speak of income equality they mean compulsory income redistribution that guarantees equal outcome. In Doublespeak income equality means redistribution of wealth.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

7. Progressive = regressive<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word\u00a0progressive has a positive connotation<\/strong>\u00a0and is commonly understood to mean something that happens or\u00a0develops gradually or in stages;<\/strong>\u00a0proceeding step by step. Synonyms for progressive include continuing, continuous, increasing, growing, developing, ongoing, accelerating, escalating, gradual, step-by-step, and cumulative. In\u00a0Doublespeak progressive is synonymous with regressive<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the opposite of actual progress (see above).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Resistance = Anarchy<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resistance is the refusal to accept or comply with something. In a democracy there are\u00a0laws and elections designed for citizens to legally and peacefully express their discontent<\/strong>\u00a0at the voting booth. When\u00a0Leftists<\/strong>\u00a0speak of\u00a0resistance<\/strong>\u00a0they are\u00a0fomenting the overthrow of the government.<\/strong>\u00a0In Doublespeak resistance means anarchy.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Social justice = Reverse discrimination<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social justice\u00a0in a democracy<\/strong>\u00a0is achieved through laws and Constitutional protections that guarantee\u00a0equal rights, equal opportunity, and equal protection under the law.<\/strong>\u00a0When\u00a0Leftists<\/strong>\u00a0speak of social justice they mean reverse discrimination where a two-tier system of justice is acceptable, where\u00a0sanctuary cities<\/strong>\u00a0that protect illegal alien felons are endorsed, and where\u00a0anarchy and violence<\/strong>\u00a0are fomented to effect social change. In Doublespeak social justice means reverse discrimination.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Tolerance = Intolerance<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word tolerance has an inclusive connotation and is commonly understood to mean the ability or\u00a0willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior<\/strong>\u00a0that one does not necessarily agree with. Synonyms for tolerance include acceptance, open-mindedness, forbearance. In\u00a0Doublespeak tolerance<\/strong>\u00a0is synonymous with intolerance \u2013 the opposite of tolerance. It is\u00a0exclusively awarded to those who LOOK differently and withheld from those who THINK differently.<\/strong>\u00a0Leftists tolerate differences in race, gender, ethnicity, and socio-economic status but are extremely intolerant of differences of opinion.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Woke (2):<\/strong> A state of awareness only achieved by those dumb enough to find injustice in everything except their own behavior.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Racism:<\/strong> Any kind of resistance, conscious or unconscious, to the political program of the left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Democracy<\/strong>: Any institutional design or voting system that enables the left to get what it wants. [Updated version: \u201cOur democracyTM\u201d\u2014democracy as the left defines it]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThreat to democracy\u201d<\/strong>: When Republicans win an election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diversity:<\/strong> Where everyone looks different, but thinks the same thing, and speaks in identical cliches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inclusion:<\/strong> The deliberate exclusion of white males.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disinformation:<\/strong> Anything a conservative says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Root causes:<\/strong> Method of deflecting attention from solutions that can relieve a problem immediately (like locking up criminals instead of playing catch and release).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Property:<\/strong> Theft. (See Marx, Karl, & Proudhon, Joseph.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHate speech\u201d:<\/strong> Any statement that challenges the dogmas of the left. Usually deployed whenever a conservative is about to win an argument. (See also, \u201cRacism,\u201d above.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free speech:<\/strong> The firebombing of public buildings by Leftists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Violence:<\/strong> The expression of conservative ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Living Constitution:<\/strong> The written Constitution is dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meritocracy:<\/strong> Created originally by liberals, now means racism\/white supremacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voter Suppression:<\/strong> Elimination of Democrat election fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Divisive:<\/strong> Any opinion the left doesn\u2019t like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
