One of the dead women was a mother of four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Essex police officer injured as Just Stop Oil protests continue on M25<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Wednesday 9 November 2022, 9:19am<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">A police officer has been injured after being struck on the M25 as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itv.com\/news\/meridian\/2022-11-09\/m25-traffic-protesters-return-to-motorway-police-force-says\">Just Stop Oil protests continue<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The officer, who was riding a police motorcycle, was involved in a rolling roadblock after reports of a person being on the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">During the roadblock, between junctions 26 for Loughton and 27 for the M11, there was a collision between two lorries and the officer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Essex Police said the officer had not been seriously injured.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">One person has been arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026Read more:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itv.com\/news\/anglia\/2022-11-09\/police-officer-injured-as-just-stop-oil-protests-continue-on-m25\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.itv.com\/news\/anglia\/2022-11-09\/police-officer-injured-as-just-stop-oil-protests-continue-on-m25<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In my opinion British climate protestors are causing deadly danger through their reckless endangerment of others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">I totally support the right of climate protestors to stage a public protest, to present their case, even if I think they are a joke. A free society tolerates law abiding clowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">But these climate protestors are not well behaved, they are going well beyond simple public speech. Their reckless disruptive tactics are putting people in danger, in ways which in my opinion&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/wattsupwiththat.com\/2022\/10\/24\/two-women-die-in-separate-car-crashes-after-being-diverted-from-a-climate-protest\/\" target=\"_blank\">have already caused deaths<\/a>, and which possibly just contributed to the injury of a police officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The sooner these hooligans are taken off the streets and locked up with long jail sentences, the better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
