They are openly pushing socialism and woke-ism<br>into the minds of our kids every day.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Just recently, an&nbsp;<strong>elementary school in my community<\/strong>&nbsp;plastered the wall with the&nbsp;<strong>ABCs of socialist activism \u2014 teaching kids terms such as \u201cW is for woke,\u201d \u201cS is for social justice,\u201d and \u201cA is for activist.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>These<strong>&nbsp;radical messages<\/strong>&nbsp;work their way into school&nbsp;<strong>curriculum, movies, advertising, and social media<\/strong>&nbsp;platforms to persuade our impressionable children.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Parents like you struggle to find&nbsp;<strong>educational material that doesn\u2019t lie<\/strong>&nbsp;about our nation\u2019s history or teach that the government is the solution to our problems.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>You want to help your children learn about true history, sound money, personal freedom and responsibility, entrepreneurship, individual rights, and more.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Tuttle Twins are the only books that&nbsp;<strong>help children develop critical thinking skills about real-world concepts<\/strong>\u2014sharing ideas with kids that most adults don\u2019t even know!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Let\u2019s be honest,&nbsp;<strong>most children\u2019s books<\/strong>&nbsp;teach very basic ideas, if any at all\u2014they\u2019re full of fluff and silly stories. A 2014 scholarly work asserted that The Cat in the Hat is an elaborate mockery of black people. In 2017, when then-First Lady Melania Trump gifted a collection of Dr. Seuss to a Massachusetts school, the books were returned by librarian Liz Phipps Soeiro with a note that the literature was \u201csteeped in racist propaganda, caricatures, and harmful stereotypes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2019 a full on witch hunt was triggered when researchers Katie Ishizuka and Ram\u00f3n Stephens published a study in the journal \u201cResearch on Diversity in Youth Literature\u201d entitled \u201cThe Cat Is Out of the Bag: Orientalism, AntiBlackness, and White Supremacy in Dr. Seuss\u2019s Children\u2019s Books,\u201d deeming them vehicles of \u201cwhite supremacy.\u201d&nbsp; To appease outraged woke parents (activists?)&nbsp; Dr. Seuss school events were canceled and six popular books selected to go out of print.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After canceling six Dr. Seuss books on spurious charges of racism, the massive German publishing giant and the secretive company that owns the rights to the deceased author\u2019s work announced that they would be unveiling new \u201cinclusive\u201d Seuss books by diverse writers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seuss, or Theodor Geisel, an old dead white man is insufficiently diverse for his publishers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the names of the new stable of \u201cinclusive\u201d writers haven\u2019t been made public, Penguin Random House, a subsidiary of the German Berteslman giant, also publishes or distributes prominent racists like Ibram X. Overall, it\u2019s still a nice, fun 13-episode series like we remember from when we were kids, but with some left turns. There is a pretty predictable take on&nbsp;<strong>climate change propaganda for little kids,<\/strong>&nbsp;but that wasn\u2019t the worst. That dubious honor goes to the<strong>&nbsp;episode that teaches kids that a monster will eat them if they don\u2019t use alternative clean energy sources.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Episode 12, \u201cMonster Power,\u201d teaches kids that a monster will eat them if they don\u2019t use alternative clean energy sources.<\/strong>\u00a0Albert, one of the students, has seen a movie in which the evil monster loves pollution and is \u201ccoming for us next for what we\u2019ve done to this planet!\u201d With the class camping in the woods, Miss Frizzle and the other students help him come up with clean energy alternatives (wind, water, etc) so they won\u2019t be eaten. Horton Hears a Who<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 This Seuss book hasn\u2019t been canceled yet, but it sure needs to be. The book claims a person is a person no matter how small, showing that Seuss hates women\u2019s rights and wants to control their bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Prominently features the letter \u201cQ.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Every Berenstain Bears book<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 These books perpetuate the idea of a nuclear family with traditional values. They also appropriated furry culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Clifford the Big Red Dog<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 He\u2019s literally a dog whistle for far-right neo-Nazi extremists and their affinity to the color red.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Teaches kids there should be consequences for bad behavior without even considering the child\u2019s race, ethnicity, or history of being oppressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6. The Very Hungry Caterpillar<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 This book encourages kids to consume and consume, destroying the environment for their own personal gain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>7. Goodnight Moon<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Honestly, it\u2019s probably not racist, but if we have to read this book to our kids one more time we\u2019re gonna die.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>8. The Jungle Book<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Insensitive and stereotypical of Indian culture. Mowgli is called \u201cman-cub,\u201d and don\u2019t even get us started on that loaded term. How has this not been canceled already?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>9. If You Give A Mouse A Cookie<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Teaches kids about cause and effect\u2013 which, as we all know from corporate anti-racism training, is an aspect of white culture not shared by other people groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>10. The Tuttle Twins<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Free markets? Individual responsibility? American history? Are you kidding? Where do we even start? We literally can\u2019t even with this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>11. The Little Engine That Could<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Implies that hard work and effort can help you overcome challenges, which is pretty tone-deaf considering oppressed groups aren\u2019t able to benefit from hard work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>12. Genderqueer Marxist Baby<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 Actually this one seems fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Get out the kerosene if you love your children. (satire\/off)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Postscript from FEE&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fee.org\/articles\/cnn-slams-libertarian-children-s-books-causing-sales-to-surge\/\"><strong>CNN Slams Libertarian Children\u2019s Books\u2014Causing Sales to Surge<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>In April,&nbsp;<strong>CNN<\/strong>&nbsp;published an opinion piece&nbsp;<strong>arguing<\/strong>&nbsp;that the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cright-wing children\u2019s entertainment complex is upon us.\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;Prominently featured as a case in point were the Tuttle Twins children\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>books<\/strong>, created by Connor Boyack&nbsp;<strong>to offset the progressive propaganda<\/strong>&nbsp;that many children now confront in classrooms across the country.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The books, which have sold more than 3.5 million copies,<strong>&nbsp;weave in libertarian themes<\/strong>&nbsp;related to individual freedom, limited government, free markets, and entrepreneurship, and frequently<strong>&nbsp;highlight the work of great thinkers such as Frederic Bastiat, F.A. Hayek, Ludwig von Mises, and FEE founder, Leonard Read.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>\u201cThe goal is to seal conservatives\u2019 children off from a broader culture, to protect them from supposed liberal indoctrination by getting a head start on conservative indoctrination,\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;wrote Nicole Hemmer, a researcher at Columbia University with the Obama Presidency Oral History Project,<strong>&nbsp;in her CNN article.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Boyack laughed<\/strong>&nbsp;when he read that. \u201cI find it&nbsp;<strong>humorous that those in the left-dominated media are wringing their hands about a few of us doing what they have long been doing,\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;he told me this week. \u201cThe&nbsp;<strong>progressive mob has long been infiltrating and leveraging<\/strong>&nbsp;pop culture, the school system, and entertainment outlets\u2014and suddenly they\u2019re&nbsp;<strong>outraged when we\u2019re providing a counter message<\/strong>&nbsp;to their myopic, woke worldview? They\u2019re clearly crocodile tears\u2014faux outrage over something the \u2018left\u2019 has long been up to.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>But\u00a0<strong>Boyack welcomes more criticism from left-leaning<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>media<\/strong>\u00a0sites because it boosts his sales.
