Death after gruesome death, all in slow motion, crafted to deliver the greatest shock possible, all falsely blamed on climate change by Attenborough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back in 2019, when the WWF\/Netflix walrus sequence from \u201aOur Planet\u2018 was released, its purpose was to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/polarbearscience.com\/2022\/01\/26\/sir-david-attenborough-the-royal-family-and-their-ties-to-the-wwf-and-wef\/\">ensure the votes for unified action<\/a>&nbsp;(i.e., \u2019success\u2018) at the upcoming UN climate meeting (COP26). Rather than \u201egiving people hope\u201c about taking action on climate change, that particular film footage was meant to emotionally bully politicians into action, as I explain in my latest book,&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/dp\/0991796691\">Fallen Icon<\/a><\/em>. Too bad it failed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I guess the UN had to give 96 year old Attenborough kudos for trying: it would have been churlish for them not to. He did work awfully hard from 2018 to 2021 to bang the climate breakdown drum, no matter the cost to his reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/science-environment-61167925\">BBC story<\/a>&nbsp;(21 April 2022):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>UNEP Executive Director Inger Anderson said that the UN chose to recognise Sir David because of his devotion to broadcasting the natural world.<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u201eIf we stand a chance of averting climate and biodiversity breakdowns and cleaning up polluted ecosystems, it\u2019s because millions of us fell in love with the planet that he captured on film and writing, in his voice,\u201c said Inger Andersen, UNEP Executive Director.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Did they \u201efall in love\u201c or were they frightened out of their wits by falsehoods, exaggerations, and half truths? There\u2019s a big difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In accepting the award, Attenborough is quoted as saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u2026the world must take action now to protect nature and the planet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Sir David said that environmental success stories should give us hope that change is possible.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201eFifty years ago, whales were on the very edge of extinction worldwide. Then people got together and now there are more whales in the sea than any living human being has ever seen,\u201c he suggested.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Odd, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/polarbearscience.com\/2021\/05\/10\/how-are-polar-bears-doing-15-years-after-the-iucn-declared-them-vulnerable-to-extinction\/\">very same thing could be said about polar bears<\/a>&nbsp;but you never hear Attenborough lauding the success story of people getting together and bringing polar bears back from the edge of extinction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attenborough added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>\u201eWe know what the problems are and we know how to solve them. All we lack is unified action.\u201c<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, unified action. We all know what that means.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/polarbearscience.com\/2022\/01\/20\/attenborough-fibbed-about-hundreds-of-dead-walrus-because-he-wanted-what-the-wef-wants\/\">He wants what the WEF wants<\/a>\u00a0and what the UN have been planning for decades: immediate and drastic societal change that runs rough-shod over democracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"723\" height=\"407\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/B3QwmnvYyGk?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The BBC report went on to illustrate what a great job Attenborough has done&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/polarbearscience.com\/2020\/01\/27\/attenboroughs-arctic-betrayal-new-video-reveals-that-terrorizing-young-children-about-climate-began-with-polar-bears\/\">frightening children<\/a>&nbsp;about the future, as if that were a laudable goal we should all admire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>Asked about Sir David, children visiting the London aquarium told BBC News they love watching him on TV and even have books about him.<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u201eHe does loads of things to support our planet and the animals. On his show, he tells us the natural world might be in danger if we don\u2019t make a difference,\u201c explains 10-year-old Raya.<\/em><\/p><p><em>She worries about the planet, saying she\u2019s learned that \u201ewe need to stop using plastic, start using more electric cars, and we should plant more trees instead of cutting them down.\u201c<\/em><\/p><p><em>Benjamin, 13, said watching Sir David\u2019s programmes has inspired him to become a marine biologist. But they\u2019ve also taught him about the danger we face from climate change and biodiversity loss.<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u201eI want to be able to have a family and I want them to live a nice world. But if we start trying very hard, we can save the natural world,\u201c he explained.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heartlessly scaring a generation of children with false stories about starving polar bears and walrus falling to their deaths because of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/polarbearscience.com\/2021\/02\/23\/attenborough-twisted-the-truth-about-dying-walrus-why-believe-him-on-climate-change\/\">climate change<\/a>\u00a0is Attenborough\u2019s sad legacy.
