The area around the volcano had completely reformed in the last ten years. the blast is so large it&#8217;s easily visible from multiple satellites in geostationary orbit, tens of thousands of miles up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The blast sent a soundwave around the world which is still being measured and the resulting tsunami caused flooding around the Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center;
