The Washington Post says the planet\u2019s fasting warming places are experiencing an extended period of historic cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHistorically frigid weather, tens of degrees below zero<\/strong>, has invaded northeast Russia, Scandinavia, Alaska and northern Canada in recent weeks.
